Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to work with our well establish client in Dronfield to ensure all plant maintenance and repairs are carried out in a timely and cost efficient manner to maximise plant availability.

Duties will include:

  • Managing and supervising your team
  • Perform planned maintenance
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns
  • Fault finding/diagnostics
  • Working in diverse areas i.e. forging operations, heat treatment, shot blast
  • CNC & manual machining, friction welding and ancillary operations
  • Oversee outside contractors/service engineers ensuring safe working practices
  • Ensuring company complies with statutory inspections
  • Responsible for continued development and training of staff
  • To be suitable for this role, you will be;

    • Apprentice trained
    • Have mechanical engineering and electrical skills
    • Have experience in a manufacturing/production environment
    • Be experienced dealing with sub-contractors and suppliers
    • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
    • Flexible attitude to working hours
    • Be IT literate
    • Have knowledge of computer maintenance management systems
    • Have the ability to work efficiently to ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe manner
    • Standard hours of work are;

      7.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday

      7.30am – 1.30pm Friday

      25 days holiday plus bank holidays

      £40k per annum

Welder Fabricator

Welder Fabricator

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Welder Fabricator for our well established Chesterfield based client.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous MIG Welding experience or a relevant qualification in the field.

Main Duties:

  • General MIG production welding in mild steel.
  • Setting out work and tacking up.
  • Preparing parts for fabrication.
  • Cutting and drilling steel.
  • Liaise with the Design Department on individual specifications.
  • Check finished work against specification.
  • Work alongside the production team to ensure delivery is on time.
  • To apply you will ideally:

    • Have previous experience as a MIG Welder or have a suitable qualification in the field
    • Have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various departments

Estimator

Estimator

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting an Estimator to work for a prestigious engineering company.

Duties to include:

  • Logging and reviewing quoting enquiries for bearings, and compiling cost assessments for products and services
  • Compile bids for work
  • Obtain quotes for all predicted requirements from sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Compile bids for work § Calculate the cost of materials, transport, labour, and equipment hire
  • Collate detailed price lists of everything needed on each construction project
  • Visit client sites
  • Present bids to clients
  • To apply for this role you will:

    • Have an engineering degree
    • Have previous experience as an estimator within civil engineering/construction
    • Have experience with industry specific software such as Autodesk DWG TrueView
    • Have the ability (current passport) and willingness to occasionally travel

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous maintenance and service experience with a mechanical bias.

Duties to include:

  • Maintaining a variety of machines
  • Planned and preventative maintenance
  • Responding to break downs and issues
  • Fault finding
  • Monitoring and maintaining work in progress reports
  • Maintaining engines

To apply for this role you need:

  • To have previous experience in a mechanical maintenance role
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
