This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous electrical assembly with fault finding experience.

  • Undertake the testing a wide variety of electronic assemblies, from discrete PCB’s to finished product
  • Be able to fault find and repair product both at the PCB level and finished product
  • To be able to record test results accurately
  • Be able to review test data and determine opportunities for improvement in yield and process performance
  • To apply for this role you need:

  • Must possess strong technical skills and be able to fault find at the PCB level
  • The ability to interpret a schematic circuit diagram is therefore critical
  • A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Educated to HNC level in electronics (or equivalent experience)

Metallurgical Test Technician

Metallurgical Test Technician

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Metallurgical Test Technician for our client in Dronfield.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with previous experience as a Metallurgical Test Technician looking to join a well established company.

Duties:

  • Working occasionally in a hot metal working environment but predominantly heat treatment, the main purpose of the role will be to take samples and prepare for testing.
  • Working on the shop floor testing samples
  • Routine sample preparation including cleaning and polishing
  • Carrying out some mechanical testing / hardness testing and evaluating results
  • Inputting information onto database

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Materials Science/Metallurgy or Materials based qualification
  • Experience of metallurgy in a production environment preferred
  • Good problem solving skills, analytical approach with good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team and as well as on own initiative
  • Able to follow processes and procedures to remain compliant with standards specifications
  • Assisting with improvements to procedures and operating methods to increase efficiency
  • IT Literate including MS Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

7.30 to 4pm Monday to Thursday

7.30 to 1.30pm Friday

Pay rate £12.50/hr approx depending on experience

CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist

Due to continued growth Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a CNC Machinist.  This is to work on a variety of products with in an Engineering environment.

Programmer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and Interpret Blueprints

The CNC programmer will be required read the blueprint designs of the product to be manufactured and then set their machines to produce the components. This requires familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software. Training will be provided, however experience with Fanuc software would be an advantage.

Program Mills and Lathes

The programmer will be responsible for the formulas necessary to program mills and lathes using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software and Fanuc. It involves 

  • entering tool registries
  • start and end points
  • offsets
  • conditional switches

It requires knowledge of geometry and trigonometry.

Other duties include: 

  • Stock management of raw materials
  • Maintenance of equipment 
  • implement routine maintenance checklists
  • performing basic troubleshooting when a machine malfunctions

Once machines are set:

  • Monitor progress
  • Check positioning
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the ability to work independently at times.

Hours: Days

Salary: 30-35K depending on experience.

Duct Fitters Mate

Duct Fitters Mate

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for  a Duct Fitters Mate to assist the Team Leader on multiple sites across the UK and Ireland.

Duties Include:

  • Assist Team Leader with all aspects of installation
  • Carry out measurements and cutting of ducting prior to fitting
  • Using powered tools
  • Working at height on fixed and mobile platforms
  • Ensuring stock is kept up to date and tidy
  • Ensuring housekeeping is kept at a high standard
  • Communicating in a friendly and professional manner with customers

To apply for the role of Duct Fitters Mate you must:

  • Have a full clean driving licence
  • Have experience of basic mechanical engineering and / or duct fitting
  • Experience working with powered and no-powered hand tools
  • Be flexible and able to work away from home

Desirable:

  • CSCS card
  • PASMA Licence
  • IPAF licence

Starting salary £20,000 – £22,000 pa

Plant Fitter

Plant Fitter

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter to join our well established client in the Chesterfield area.

 Basic hours are 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours a week) Reporting to the Plant Manager the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a large selection of plant and equipment.

Key Duties:

  • Service and repair plant and vehicles efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures
Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and have experience of plant and equipment associated with the Company business. Desirable skills include:

  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, common faults and common inspection and repair methods.
  • Knowledge of plant and vehicle electrical systems, common faults and common inspection and repair methods.
  • Some basic fabrication skills (useful bot not essential).
Essential Skills and Qualities:
  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter (NVQ in Plant maintenance or similar), Apprentice trained or demonstrated time served.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • HGV licence may be useful bot not essential.
  • Able to work as part of a Team and alone using their own initiative.
  • Flexible, keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away
