Welder/Fabricator

Inspire Resourcing are representing a growing business in the Chesterfield area close to Junction 29 who are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their growing.

Our client is looking for a Welder/Fabricator who is experienced in producing high quality and bespoke steelwork.

Welder/Fabricator Duties:

  • MIG Welding
  • Fabricating bespoke products
  • Working on commercial vehicles
  • Experience:

  • You must have experience in MIG welding
  • Fabrication experience
  • Ideally have experience working on commercial vehicles
  • Pay rate + working hours:

    • Between £37,856 to £43,264 depending on experience
    • Overtime is paid at 1.5 hourly rate after 40 hours
    • 40-hour work week with 8 hours mandatory overtime
    • Monday to Friday – 7am to 5:30pm
    • There is opportunity for plenty of overtime with this role.

Production Operative

Production Operative

Inspire resourcing are representing a client based in the Barlborough area of Chesterfield. We are seeking a well organised production operative to assist in a rapidly growing production area to work flexibly as part of a small team.

Production Operative Duties:

This is a varied role assisting in the production and final assembly of a range of products that are produced in-house with duties to include:

  • Assisting in the final assembly of a small range of products produced in-house to includes finished machines
  • Collation of materials such as packaging, accessory packs, instruction manuals etc. prior to final assembly.
  • Performing quality control checks and completion of quality control check sheets during the packing phase of production.
  • Preparing and re-stocking materials for use in production.
  • Assisting with the conversion of plugs on machines
  • General housekeeping of the workshop and production area as required ensuring that it is kept clean and free from hazards.
  • Production Operative Experience:

    • Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will be competent when using hand and power tools.
    • A willingness to learn and develop as the department expands and the ability to work on their own initiative is essential.
    • The department is fast paced with constantly changing deadlines and priorities, so the ideal candidate will be well organised with a flexible approach to any given task.
    • Production Operative Hours of Work/Rate of Pay:

      • £10.90 per hour
      • 37 hours per week plus overtime as and when necessary
      • Mon-Thurs 7:00 to 3:00
      • Fri 7:00 to 2:30
      • (30-minute unpaid lunch break per day)

Food Production Operative

Food Production Operative

Inspire Resourcing are representing a growing food manufacturing business in the Chesterfield area who are looking an experience Food Production Operative to join their team.

This role has come available due to a long-time staff member retiring.

This job will include:

  • Intake and dispatch
  • Mixing from a recipe
  • Dry mixing such as sausage flavouring
  • Weight out ingredients for the mixing team (when helping in other departments)
  • Keeping and clean and tidy work environment
  • Other duties that may be required
  • This role is a part time role of 30 hours per week with set days, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 06:30 to 16:30.

    Hourly rate of £10.42 per hour raising to £11.44 in April 2024.

    This is a temporary to permanent role.

    For this role you will need to have:

    • Experience in a food manufacturing environment
    • Have knowledge of food hygiene standards
    • Knowledge of COSHH (Desirable)
    • Have an in date or expired Food Hygiene certificate (if out of date – the company will put you through the refresher)
    • Be physically fit as some of the ingredient bags can weigh up to 25kg.
    • Be able to read and understand recipes and instructions.

Warehouse Operative with FLT – Responsibilities:

  • Signing in stock from suppliers and distributing in the warehouse accordingly
  • Stock control and rotation of productions
  • Replenishment of stock in the warehouse
  • Helping build kits where needed
  • Driving of Forklift (Reach or Counterbalance)
  • Manual handling
  • Use of PPT and other lifting aids.
  • Warehouse Operative with FLT – Skills and experience:

    • Previous experience within a warehouse environment is essential
    • You will have an accredited or inhouse FLT License or either Reach or Counterbalance
    • Hard working and a real can-do attitude
    • This role includes manual handling so you must be physically fit (following HSE guidelines)
    • Warehouse Operative with FLT – Working Hours and Pay:

      • Monday to Thursday – 08:45 to 17:00
      • Friday – 08:45 to 16:30
      • Hourly pay £10.90 per hour (increasing in April)
      • This is a temporary to permanent position
