Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a manufacturing client in Chesterfield. This is a sector that has seen significant growth and requires additional team members. You will not need to have experience to be a General Operative but should have a good work ethic and the ability to pick up new tasks.

The role of General Operative will involve:

  • working in a production environment
  • looking at daily tasks and carrying these out
  • matching & using hand held devises
  • loading
  • labelling
  • You will be on your feet all day, working regular days and progress to other departments if you show the ability.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous Manufacturing or Machine Operating experience as there is further training and opportunity for progression within the factory.

Duties to include:

  • The packing of products
  • Must be able to adhere to all health and safety instructions
  • Keep and accurately update all production records
  • Use the machinery, ensuring the correct settings are applied for each individual job
  • Manual handling
  • Always check maximum output for the machines
  • Ensure that all quality controls and procedures are adhered to and that the finished product meets the requirements

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to work for this highly reputable Engineering Company whose head office is in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with some Quality Engineering experience who wants to become a Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Duties to include:

  • Assist in Margin improvement
  • Identify non-compliance.
  • Resolve root cause
  • Assess and maintain customer and company quality requirements.
  • Communicate back to stake holders
  • Complete ISO 9001;2015 audits
  • Capture and analyse data
  • Improve business performance by running projects

  • Have demonstrable skills in shop floor manufacturing Or Quality Engineering background

Stores Controller

Stores Controller

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Stores Controller for our well established client based in Chesterfield.

This fantastic opportunity would sort an experienced Stores person, who has good IT and communication skills.

Main duties:

  • Place purchase orders on Solar Vista.
  • Book goods in on Solar Vista.
  • Book goods out on Solar Vista for parts taken by Engineers and filling in inventory movement forms for goods going straight to site or into Factory for New Weighbridges.
  • Check delivery notes against goods coming in to ensure correct. To open deliveries and ensure what is on delivery note is what has been delivered.
  • Check deliveries for any fault or incorrect parts, if incorrect or faulty to inform Service Manager/General Manager and also purchasing, stock to be put aside in a quarantine area ready for return.
  • Stock to be put in correct bin location on racking when received.
  • Accept goods delivered on extranet.
  • Periodic check of stock levels against inventory- With £0 stock loss or gain target with any exceptions noted, adequate time to be given and store closure to allow monthly stock take to be achieved accurately.
  • Package and arrange collection or delivery of goods.
  • Open purchase orders on Solar Vista to be checked to ensure that these are still outstanding.
  • Keep work station clean and tidy and in safe condition.
  • On occasion driving to suppliers to pick up urgent parts.
  • Other adhoc jobs with in reason, EG disposing of waste bags, restocking paper towel units.
  • To ensure stores are kept secure in working day and restrict access to authorised personnel only, upon finishing working day ensure stores are locked and secure.
  • To ensure back up staff are trained and up to date on collection/deliveries to cover annual leave and sickness.
  • Weekly review of new goods deliveries with Compliance Officer and Service Manager to ensure all customers delivery requirements are met.
  • To inform Service Manager/General Manager of any resource required to meet collection and delivery requirements.
