Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst

Inspire Resourcing are working closely with our client in Chesterfield who are on the lookout for a supply chain analyst to join the team on a FTC covering maternity for around 8 months. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an induvial with excellent analytical skills, who has a background in liaising with suppliers.

Main duties:

  • Conduct research to identify the best available products and potential vendors
  • Select vendors that meet technical, quality and commercial requirements, ensuring selection conforms to the company’s purchasing strategy
  • Invite prospective vendors to bid, ensuring that all customer requirements are effectively communicated
  • Analyse vendor offers to ensure their viability and to identify any potential risks
  • Liaise with vendors to maintain strong relationships to ensure that they are providing the best possible levels of support
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date vendor database for Commercial projects
  • Drive automation and simplification within our processes
  • Accept direct responsibility for the completion of projects in line with agreed priorities and deadlines
To apply you will ideally:

  • Have experience of working in a demanding and fast-paced distribution environment
  • Be confident, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent MS Office skills
Circa £25k – £26k

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for our well established client based in Chesterfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager, looking to join a well respected company in their field.

Supply Chain Manager Duties:

  • Proactively manage supplier relationships
  • Ensuring on time deliveries and investigating any failures in achieving RDD
  • Review and maintain an effective Import Process
  • Ensure all important compliance is followed to the correct regulations, ensuring all HTS codes are in line with company policy
  • To review current process’ in line with Quality Management systems
  • Ensure all products purchased meet operational requirements
  • To review and negotiate prices with suppliers
  • To apply you will ideally:

    • Have experience in the Automotive sector, although this is not essential
    • Have an excellent understanding of Import Compliance
    • CIPS Qualified / QBE

Main Duties:

  • Generating Purchase Orders 
  • Placing Purchase Orders
  • Tracking Purchase Orders 
  • Monitoring and maintaining suitable inventory levels
  • Assisting the Buyer as required.
  • You will ideally:

    • Be educated to A level standard
    • Experience in a similar role
    • Have experience working with sage or similar software

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Buyer / Materials Controller for our well established client based in the Nottinghamshire region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in a similar role, looking to join a well established and expanding family run business.

Main duties:

  • Exercise timely and effective control of specific product purchased at best possible price
  • Provide excellent internal service to other departments, and ultimately our customers
  • Manage stock levels and values to within targets
  • Produce timely accurate reports when required
  • Develop and nurture contacts with suppliers
  • Audit and maintain static data to ensure that current information is always available
  • Produce timely accurate reports when required
  • Ensure that operational tasks are effectively carried out in a timely fashion
  • Identify opportunities for improved efficiency in the operation of Materials Control within the group
  • Perform any additional reasonable functions requested by a senior manager
  • Work towards achieving the company strategy
