Manufacturing Team Leader

Manufacturing Team Leader


Salary: £10.50 per hour


Permanent After’s: 14.00pm till 22.00pm

We are currently looking for two ambitious and motivated individuals to join a global packaging, manufacturing and distribution company based in Chesterfield as Team Leaders.

  Main Activities/Responsibilities of a Team Leader:

  • Supervise and be responsible for all functions, activities and personnel in allocated Teams and Units. Recognise and apply priorities in line with those planned and established with the Manufacturing Manager.
  • To assist in the planning of production requirements from appropriate moulding machine and ancillary equipment, ensuring relevant materials are available.
  • To communicate production needs to Team members allocating resource as necessary to achieve effective utilisation of the Team and equipment.
  • To plan with the Manufacturing Manager, break, holiday, and absence cover enabling optimum performance to meet Company and Customer requirements.
  • To liaise with the Manufacturing Manager on optimum labour requirements within the Team for present and future production requirements.
  • To organise services of Tool Room, Maintenance or support personnel notifying of the need for repairs and ongoing requirements.
  • To ensure Team members apply the specified operating procedures for all manufactured product in the area.
  • To assist in providing individual job training, and coaching, to new recruits to the Team and existing Team members, monitor their progress toward achieving acceptable levels of quality and performance.
  • To constantly monitor people and equipment ensuring compliance on Health and Safety Issues.
For the Team Leader Position, ideally you will have:

  • Approximately 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Truck training as applicable: FLT Licence (Counterbalance); Warehouse experience; Banksman Training
  • Background within medium/high volume manufacturing and warehousing/engineering environment
  • Proven experience of working within a challenging warehouse environment and of leading a team.
  • Highly experienced in working under own initiative, demonstrating an ability to set & meet personal targets, combined with the flexibility to adjust to workload priorities to take account of new deadlines.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Good written and numerical skills; IT knowledge, including e-mail, Word, Excel.
  • A flexible, forward-thinking approach to work, along with the ability to work as part of a team.

Production Planner

Production Planner

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Production Planner for a well established engineering company who are in a stable position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planner, ideally from an Engineering background.

Main duties:
  • Producing weekly production and dispatch plans which entails working closely with the operations manager and works supervision.
  • To monitor the daily schedules ensuring that the production and dispatch departments are adhering to the planned quantities and sequence.
  • Continuously looking to improve the plans delivery through liaison with the production and dispatch team.
  • Customer facing role, advising delivery dates and solving manufacture and delivery queries.
  • Maintaining high customer service, communicating and solving issues by providing customers with as much notice as possible to react to potential delays.
  • To communicate and escalate issues internally and externally.
  • Entering daily production and dispatch figures onto the system.
  • To represent the department in weekly production meetings and deputise for the operations manager.
  • Maintain and monitor KPI reports.
  • Producing weekly customer schedules.
  • Booking in deliveries with customers and overseeing each load runs smoothly by liaising with the customers and delivery drivers.
  • Entering the daily consignments for product being dispatched on carrier.
  • Printing dispatch tickets.

To apply you will ideally:
  • Have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in the engineering sector
  • Be motivated with hunger to succeed 

£25k – £30k DOE

Software Trainer

Software Trainer

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Software Trainer for our client based in Derbyshire.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with an individual with previous experience in a similar role. Main duties:

  • To learn and understand the standard company software with the objective of being able to present and deliver all of the module training courses to clients at Head Office, remotely and on site at customer’s premises. 
  • Writing up notes on the training delivered and reporting back to management
  • Holding class room style training sessions
  • Holding remote training sessions
  • To offer excellent customer service to all customers
  • Presenting to customers, taking questions and offering any technical advice required
  • To liaise with the training and development team, as well as other internal stakeholders

  • Have previous experience working in a Software Trainer role
  • Have an interest in IT / Software

    Machine Operator

    Machine Operator

    Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for a Machine Operator to work for a well known and highly reputable company within the Dronfield area.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Machine Operator who wants to take the next step in their career or anybody who is looking to become a Machine Operator.

    Duties will include:
    • Operating press machinery
    • Loading and unloading products onto machines
    • Quality inspection of products before process
    • Handling and stock count of raw materials
    • Maintaining accurate production records
    • Monitoring and disposing of scrap material
    • General housekeeping
    • Adhering to all health and safety on site

    To apply for the role of Machine Operator you will ideally:
    • Have experience within manufacturing
    • Be reliable and hard working
    • Be able to work 12 hour shifts

    Pay rate: £9.00 per hour, increasing after the initial 12 weeks.
