Commercial Manager

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to work for this highly reputable construction company with multi million pound projects nationwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with civil engineering, mechanical and electrical experience within the water sector. This role is suitable for those who are currently working as a Commercial Manager or ready to progress to a Commercial Manager role.

Duties and responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Undertake cost to complete and budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.
  • Management of, and resolving, contractual and commercial problems.
  • Review subcontract orders and advise accordingly within the business.
  • Attend internal and external commercial review meetings with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management information and take responsibility for the accuracy.
  • Manage and negotiate with the key strategic supply chain.
  • Offer direction and instruction and management of daily operations.
  • Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties.
  • Final account negotiation to achieve the best possible outcome for the business.
  • Upload documentation as and when necessary, in line with business requirements.
  • Working with the operational teams to deliver and manage performance against the Profit Improvement Plan.
  • Ensure that the delivery team are briefed and ensure support is in place to monitor and react to budget variances.
  • Preparation of monthly management high level financial performance reports.

To apply, you will have:

  • Experience in a senior commercial role within the water industry would be highly advantageous.
  • NEC 3/NEC 4 experience.
  • Engineering contracting background.
  • Commercial and contractual awareness with a proven track record of success.
  • Self-motivation, passion, and a driven can-do attitude
  • Be proactive and able to organise yourself and others workload

Car Allowance/ Company Car

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £50,000 – £65000 D.O.E, plus benefits.
