Manufacturing Manager 

Location commutable from: South Yorkshire and Derbyshire

The Role

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be leading the plant manufacturing function, managing a team and driving performance and loss elimination. Key duties include, but not limited to:

    • Creating and implementation of improvement plan
    • Coaching and developing staff – leading by example and highlighting their potential
    • Analyse production data – ensuring you understand the root cause of any losses and finding a solution (documenting and training staff on improvements)
    • Deliver world class results in terms of delivery, cost, H&S and team management

      • You 

      The ideal candidate for the Manufacturing Manager role will have previous experience working in Technical, manufacturing or FMCG environment (at least five years. You will also possess:

    • Previous experience as a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager (other related roles also considered)
    • Lean Six Sigma (Green belt or higher)
    • Higher qualification in related subject i.e. Bachelor, Masters, HNC/HND
    • Knowledge of technical aspects of planning, safety, lines and quality
    • Proactive and switched on – a professional, with high standards for shop floor appearance
    • Natural leader, able to drive team engagement and development
