Project Administrator

The head office is based in Chesterfield but they do cover the whole of the UK so good geographical knowledge is an advantage,

Responsibilities will include assisting Project Managers with day-to-day administration duties, including but not limited to:

  • Transport for site deliveries
  • Managing equipment, materials and hiring of plant
  • Booking transport to and from sites
  • Arranging accommodation
  • Control of suppliers and sub-contractors, including liaison with suppliers to negotiate prices/discounts/rebates.
  • Project administration
  • Ensuring stock supplies are maintained.
  • Purchasing of equipment needed to carry out the job.
  • General administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of a busy operations department.
  • Administration of waste transfer licenses and notes
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a busy office and work with them as they grow. This role demands a person with drive and enthusiasm, prepared to work independently and capable of multi-tasking, whilst maintaining attention to detail. Order processing experience is desirable though full training will be provided in all job-specific fields.

    The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience and expertise:

    • Excellent use of IT packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong administration skills
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Experience in the signage or modular building industry is an advantage
    • Hours: normal office hours

      Salary: 19-22K depending on experience
